Discovering, Sharing, Growing: Journey Church believes that life is an adventure to be explored and an experience to be lived through Biblical faith. Jesus Himself came to show people just like us how life is meant to be lived. As we become more like Him we discover the purpose for which we were created. We believe that Jesus Christ alone makes our journeys meaningful and purposeful. He alone gives us a destination worth the journey!
Join in the fun at Eva Frontier’s Day September 18th thru the 25th. Events are planned for the whole week. Journey will be involved in the parade on Saturday, the 25th. See Melissa Farmer to get involved.

You are on the beginning of a new journey as we begin our Journey Church Connection Groups. I want to encourage you to not only attend but invite someone along with you. This is a great opportunity to bring someone that might not come to a regular church service, and it is a great time to get to know the people that you go to church with every week. The Connection Groups will only be successful if you attend. These meetings will be filled with food, fun, fellowship and a time of ministry of the Word and prayer. My family and I will be attending a different group each month to get to know everyone better. You may be wondering what you need to do or bring, so the following should help you with some questions you my have. (more…)

The Fire of Revival is going all over the world and yes, here in Eva, Alabama.
Well, we certainly had an awesome week with the power and glory of God showing up each night. The total number of people baptized over the past two weeks is now at 35. The key to any revival or move of God is hunger and expecting God to move.
With the Lakeland, Florida Outpouring, people are gathering together, praising, praying and seeking God with a hunger to be healed, saved, delivered and blessed. And that is exactly what is happening here at Journey Church. There seems to be an expectancy here that has raised the level of God’s anointing. People’s excitement level is at a place where they are beginning to go and tell people that God is here.
My prayer is that this will only increase with no end, so press into the fullness that God has for you. Be praying for more signs, wonders and miracles, for the glory of God.
